Descendents List - lists descendents of Benjamin Vorce [or Force], circa
1700.
I'm a descendant of Sarah Jane
Vorce. She married Stephen Subra, a Civil War
veteran, around 1868. They resided in Dodge County, MN.
Stephen and Sarah had three children: William John (my great grandfather),
Albert Stephen (died at the age of 28, having never married), and Emma Belle
(died at the age of 44, having never married).
Sarah died about 13 months after Emma was born, probably due to a plague of
some kind during that time. She is buried in beautiful Claremont Street
Cemetery, NE of Claremont (Dodge County), MN, along with her son Albert. Her
daughter, Emma, is supposedly buried there as well, according to cemetery
records, but no grave marker exists for her.
I've gathered more information, and will post as I have time.
